Veterans Day salute to be printed Wed. Posted on November 7, 2015 0 Area residents are invited to honor their family members who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, past and present, by submitting their photos for a special Veterans Day salute in The Daily Chief-Union. The feature will include veterans, both living and deceased, as well as men and women who currently are serving. The cost is $20 for an individual photo with the name, rank and branch of service, hometown, dates of service and a list of any wars or conflicts the veteran or service member participated in. Forms are available at The Daily Chief-Union and a copy of the form is included on today’s page 3. If no photo is available, submissions also may be submitted as text remembrances for a cost of $10 each. Photos must be received by 4 p.m. Monday.
