Alvin D. Risner Posted on March 20, 2017 0 CAREY — Alvin D. Risner, of rural Fostoria, died at 10:03 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his residence surrounded by family. He was 78. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, with the Rev. Mike Keckler officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or ASPCA in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W.
