Castanien, age 86, of Upper Sandusky and formerly of rural Nevada, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. Funeral services for Thomas E. Castanien will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday and also for one hour before service time Friday at the funeral home.
