Eugene “Gene” Cheney, 86, of Upper Sandusky, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Richwood, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Brian Arnold will officiate. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky. Burial will take place at a later date at Claibourne Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to John Stewart United Methodist Church, 130 W. Johnson St., Upper Sandusky, OH 43351, and Richwood First United Methodist Church, 18 S. Fulton St., Richwood, OH 43344.
