Gary Lee Harris Posted on April 10, 2018 0 Gary Lee Harris FOREST — Gary Lee Harris, 74, of Forest, passed away at 10:05 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. Gary is survived by his wife, Kay, of 51 years; his son, Mike, of Forest; his daughter, Misti (Jeff) Hicks, of Forest; two grandsons, Wesley and Mason Vent; and a sister, Joanne Eikenbery, of Dola. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman “Bud” and Esther Harris; and two sisters, Marjorie Swanson and Betty Harris. A celebration of life gathering will be held for family and friends from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Forest VFW Memorial Post 1182, 204 E. Lima St., Forest. A brief commemoration will be led by Dennis Gilfillian at 2:30 p.m. Private burial will be at a later date at the Jackson Township, Wyandot County Cemetery. Gary unselfishly become a donor for the Ohio State University Body Donor Program for cancer research. The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
