Blankenship, age 80, of Nevada, passed away at 12:34 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky. Funeral services for John Blankenship are 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Doral Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S.
