Friends local to the Akron area are invited to an informal gathering at 6 p.m. Thursday at The Noisy Oyster 1375 North Portage Path, Akron, OH, 44313, 330-864-7500. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH 43316. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Parish-St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Frenchtown.
