Sonny Ward Posted on November 9, 2022 0 SYCAMORE — Sonny L. Ward Jr., age 49, of 15777 TH 82, Forest, died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, in Fostoria. A memorial service for Sonny is 2 p.m. Saturday at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday before the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Sonny’s wife (Melanie Ward) for funeral expenses in care of Walton-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 350, Sycamore, OH 44882. His father is deceased and his mother lives in Sycamore. He married Melanie (Thacker) Ward on Feb. 19, 2006, and she survives in Forest. Surviving are the following children, Cody (Chelsea) Smith, Forest; Cuyler (Natalie) McKee, Wharton; Cloey Ward, Forest; and Carly Ward, Forest; plus five grandchildren, Evony, Claytyn, Revelyn, Cassidy and Carsyn. Also surviving are six brothes, Chad (Rachnee) Ward, rural Sycamore; Rick (Jeannie) Leeth Jr., Sycamore; Randy (Kacy) Leeth, rural Sycamore; Kyle (Kim) Leeth, rural Sycamore; Mike Leeth, McCutchenville; and Danny (Natalie) Leeth, Sycamore. Sonny had worked as an ironworker through Local No. 55, Toledo, and also had a business Mae-Bel Aparies, which raises and sells honey. He was a master beekeeper, state bee inspector, was a Mohawk High School graduate and loved raising bees, doing woodworking, fishing and doing masonry work. [/am4show]
