David McLaughlin Posted on September 16, 2023 0 David A. McLaughlin Sr. age 82 of Upper Sandusky, died Sept. 14, 2023 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 2, 1941, in Carey to the late Daniel and Bernice (Ludwick) McLaughlin. He married Carolyn J. Mick on April 19, 1965, and she survives in Upper Sandusky. Mr. McLaughlin also is survived by his children, Debra McLaughlin, Upper Sandusky; David McLaughlin Jr., Upper Sandusky; Melissa Crutsinger, Fostoria; and Beverly (David Martin) Zamora, Upper Sandusky; grandchildren Eric (Candace) Zamora, Dayton; Trisha (Drew) McClellan, Upper Sandusky; and Amber McLaughlin, Columbus; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Mr. McLaughlin was a 1959 graduate of Carey High School. He worked at the former Westinghouse, then AO Smith for 40 years. Mr. McLaughlin attended Wildwood Chapel. He enjoyed tinkering and building things, and traveling especially to Tennessee. A funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday in Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before time of services.
