Catherine Gibson Posted on January 22, 2024 0 CAREY — Catherine “Alene” Gibson, age 94, of Carey, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at her home. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey. Parish prayers will be offered at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father Tom Merrill, OFM Conv., officiating. Burial will take place in Spring Grove Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Alene’s honor may be made to Our Lady of Consolation School or the Dorcas Carey Public Library and may be sent to the funeral home.
