Gottfried walked one and struck out four in the first two innings, while Brickner (1-1) walked one with one strikeout over the final three innings. Mohawk (14-3, 8-1 N10) scored six times in the first inning and then followed it up with a pair of five-run innings before taking on six more runs in their final two at-bats. Katie Woodland doubled twice, singled twice, scored four times and had five RBIs for the Warriors. Mallory Brickner had four hits and scored four runs. Gracie Clouse, Gottfried and AJ Chevalier had two hits apiece, with Clouse drive in three runs and Chevalier scoring three. Addison Sebring (4-4) took the loss for the Royals (9-11, 4-8 N10). She gave up six earned runs on nine hits and three walks with one strikeout in two innings. Brooke Frombaugh allowed eight earned runs on nine hits and three walks in three innings.
