4-H wants you in 2025! Posted on January 7, 2025 0 By ALLISON COOPER 4-H educator When you hear 4-H, you probably think of kids sewing, farming, or raising livestock. Although you would be partially correct, 4-H has much more to offer and isn’t JUST FOR YOUTH! The program wouldn’t be possible without the countless number of adults who help make it all happen. Club leaders, project volunteers, livestock committee members, Sr. & Jr. Fair Board, FFA Advisors, judges, county commissioners, business owners, sale buyers, and so many more community adults make this program such a success. The Crawford County 4-H program is excited to announce that we are looking for the next great adult to run our 4-H Food Stand during the week of the Crawford County Fair. This adult does not have to be a current 4-H volunteer and does not require any prior knowledge of the 4-H program. The Food Stand manger role needs to have basic safe food handling knowledge, be organized, and able to work with various vendors and supporters of the 4-H Food Stand. The 4-H Food Stand Manager will be compensated for the work done throughout the calendar year. The compensation will be paid on the profit of the 4-H Food Stand. This will be paid to the 4-H Food Stand Manager after review and final approval of financials & completion of duties. Interested or want more information? Send a message of intent to: Allison M.
