The Wyandot Safety Council recently held its first annual awards banquet at the Elks Lodge in Upper Sandusky. More than 50 business representatives enjoyed a meal by Shotzy’s Bar and Grille and program by Kyle Weygandt on the safety illusion.

Three Wyandot area employers were recognized by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for their strong workplace safety records. The businesses received BWC’s Special Award for Safety for at least 500,000 hours and six months without an injury resulting in a day or more away from work.
