Cathy Hiner loves to work with her hands. A former United Methodist pastor, Hiner, 77, followed her daughter and moved to Upper Sandusky in 2009 and has been active with John Stewart United Methodist Church and the Wyandot County Council on Aging for the past seven years and counting.
ATTICA — Carey made tackles and played good defense in the first half, but from the opening kickoff of the second half, that changed. D.J. Ruffing returned that kick 82 yards for a touchdown, and the Tigers eventually ran away with a 42-13 victory against Carey to guarantee them a playoff game and leave the Blue Devils wondering if they would make the postseason. Ultimately, they did anyway.

Cincinnati Bengals chaplain LaMorris Crawford spoke to Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church’s Reignite youth group Wednesday evening. Crawford grew up in poverty in inner city Chicago without parents because his mother was a prostitute who was murdered.
