Law enforcement combine efforts to form special response team

Team training

Since October, the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office special response team has been meeting bi-monthly for two-hour training sessions at various buildings and offices in the county. Currently, the team is comprised of 10 members of law enforcement and is a joint effort between the WCSO and the Upper Sandusky and the Carey police departments, forming a multi-agency team.

Wind tunnel

Children attending the Forest-Jackson Public Library summer reading program on Tuesday morning got to test out their own paper airplanes in a “wind tunnel” at the Gormley Park shelterhouse.
