Jon “Big Nut” Peters (right), of Fremont, recently donated a buckeye tree for Stepping Stones Park on behalf of himself and his wife. Peters said in a May 25 Facebook post that he gave the tree so “the people of Upper Sandusky (can) enjoy the beauty of a buckeye tree.”

Spectators and participants filled the bleachers at the outdoor horse arena at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds on Saturday for the 2016 Gymkhana Horse Show.
