Family and friends recently celebrated Tom and Kathy Cregers’ 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at Angeline School. Their family chose “What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been” as the theme of the party.

CAREY — Floyd and R. Joyce (Kin) Derr, 119 West St., Carey, will celebrate their 65th anniversary Sept. 6. They were married Sept. 6, 1952 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kirby.

Jerry and Donna (Lehman) Taylor of 8055 CH 58, Upper Sandusky, will celebrate their 50th anniversary at 2 p.m. Saturday at their home. They were married Sept. 2, 1967 at Methodist Church in Carey.

Roger and Martha (Altman) Alspach of Upper Sandusky will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a West Coast trip. Mrs. Alspach is a daughter of the late Wilbur and Margaret Altman. Mr. Alspach is a son of the late Hugh and Audrey Alspach.

FOREST — Karon (Naus) and Wayne Dilley, 17600 Ohio 67, Forest OH 45843, are celebrating 50 years of marriage. Mr. Dilley is a son of Ann Dilley of Patterson and the late Bill Dilley.

Merle and Anna (Barber) Goodman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday during an event catered and hosted by Cheers 2 U. The event was in the banquet room at the Upper Sandusky restaurant.

Minor and Elma (Bowen) Spitler of Upper Sandusky recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. The Spitlers were married May 31, 1942 in Upper Sandusky.

Richard and Margaret Abbott of Upper Sandusky celebrate 70 years of marriage today. They were married May 22, 1947 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Marion.

CAREY — Paul and Bonnie (Plummer) Conley of Carey will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday. Mr. Conley is a son of the late Bruce and Ruby Conley.

Longtime Upper Sandusky residents Al and Jan (Zischkau) Stoneburner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday night, dining and dancing aboard the Odyssey as it cruises the Potomac River in Washington DC. High school sweethearts, the Stoneburners were married April 29, 1967 by the Rev. Minor Gressley in Angola, Indiana.
