The Riverdale Community Lions Club recently made donations. Lions Club Treasurer Ron Moening (left) presented donations to the Mount Blanchard United Methodist Church and Forest/Wharton food pantries, which were accepted by Lois Thiel.

A Texas Hold’em poker tournament will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 29 at the Wyandot Humane Society Bingo Hall. Buy-in is $50 with one $20 re-buy allowed in the first 90 minutes.

Wyandot County Home Health and Hospice of Wyandot County are teaming up to continue the strong tradition each has of caring for friends and neighbors in Wyandot County. Home Health, currently a division of the Wyandot County General Health District, will transition to the local hospice management in early February.

The Wellness Center at Wyandot Memorial Hospital is offering its Living with Diabetes course to diabetics and their support persons from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 20-21 in the Bowman and Kirkland Conference Rooms on the hospital’s lower level.

FOREST — The Kappa chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society will meet for a Christmas luncheon at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kathy’s Home Cooking in Forest. Dorothy Blackburn will present the program.
