Beth and Derek Dailey, of Mount Blanchard, are the parents of a girl, Violet Grace Dailey. She was born at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

Emily and Stephen Becker, of Bowling Green, are the parents of a boy, Matthew Dominic Andrew. He was born at 10:56 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at Toledo Hospital, Toledo.

TIFFIN — The Seneca County Retired Teachers Association will again award a monetary grant to a high school senior residing in Seneca County who plans to pursue a career in the field of education. Funding for the scholarship is obtained through voluntary contributions made by SCRTA members.

FINDLAY — The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program began Nov. 1 and will conclude on March 31 or as long as funds remain available, and online scheduling now is available. The Winter Crisis Program was created to provide financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income-eligible households who are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service, transfer service or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel.

CRESTLINE — The Crawford Park District will host “Rock ’n Fossil Day” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 State Route 598, Crestline. Members of The Richland Lithic and Lapidary Society will be present to help identify pieces from collections.
