Plans are underway for the ninth annual “More Than Just a Bridal Fair” sponsored by Altrusa International of Tiffin to be held from 12-3 p.m. Jan. 17 at Meadowbrook Park Ballroom, Bascom. More than 40 vendors are expected to display products and services needed to plan for a wedding or other special events, such as anniversary parties or class reunions.

Bob Evans will conduct a two-day fundraiser to support the Upper Sandusky Middle School eighth-grade Washington, D.C., trip from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 27 and 28. When customers present the event flier, the restaurant, located at 1730 E. Wyandot Avenue, will donate 15 percent of the sales from meal purchases toward the trip.
