The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation will award five $1,000 scholarships this spring to Wyandot County residents planning careers in health care.
Past and present Carey High School and Carey Elementary teachers, cooks, custodians, bus drivers and administrators are invited to “Say Goodbye to an Old Friend on East South Street” at 4 p.m. March 19 at the high school. Attendees can tour the school, reminisce, socialize and say goodbye to the buildings, which will be closed at the end of the school year, with a newly constructed school opening in the fall.
Changes made by the Internal Revenue Service and the state of Ohio mean there will be a reduced number of tax forms and filing instruction booklets available at the Upper Sandusky Community Library and other libraries this year.
