BUCYRUS — The Crawford Park District naturalist Josh Dyer is hosting a winter tree identification stroll at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sears Woods, 1486 Mount Zion Road. Dyer will show participants the ins and outs of identifying trees in the winter when they don’t have leaves, including taking a closer look at bark, the twigs and any fruit that may be found.
CRESTLINE — Crawford Park District naturalist Logan Masters will be hosting a “K9 friends” walk through Lowe-Volk Park at 4 p.m. Feb. 3. Participants may bring their “best friend” along for a “nice, easy stroll” through the park.
The Wellness Center at Wyandot Memorial Hospital is offering its Living with Diabetes course to diabetics and their support people from 5-8:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and 18 in the Bowman and Kirkland Conference Rooms on the hospital’s lower level.
CAREY — The Good Friday ecumenical choir, also known as Adoramus, is looking for members to sing a musical reflection at noon March 25 in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation. Rehearsals will be in the choir loft of the Basilica on Sunday afternoons beginning at 1 p.m. Feb. 14.

TIFFIN — The Seneca County Genealogical Society meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Frost-Kalnow room of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library. The program to be presented is “Tales from the Black Swamp” by Michael Gilbert.
The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Guild met Monday in the hospital conference room for its first meeting of the year with 28 members present. Cletabelle Barnes called to order and read the poem, “Common Sense.”
The Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International has begun an awards program within Hardin and Wyandot counties. Gift certificates from hometown businesses have been given to show appreciation for the effort and perseverance of those newer teachers who have taught a short time.
