Forest VFW to host annual Holiday Marketplace

FOREST — The fifth annual VFW Holiday Marketplace in Forest is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at two locations in Forest: the VFW Hall at 204 E. Lima St. and the Forest-Jackson Public Library at 102 W. Lima St. The craft show features over 35 craft and direct sales vendors.

The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program will host a Medicare Part D registration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19 at Upper Sandusky’s Senior Connection, 124 S. Sandusky Ave. To schedule an appointment, call Amy Gardner at 419-294-5733.

Annual quarter auction proceeds to go to USMS

Upper Sandusky Middle School has announced the dates of two quarter auctions to raise funds for the eighth grade trip to Washington, D.C., and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Auctions are set for 4 p.m. Sunday in the dining hall and Feb. 21 in the Masters’ Building at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds.

Tracers to meet Monday

The Wyandot County Tracers chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the board room at Upper Sandusky Community Library. Larry Cole will share stories about his special family search. Anyone interested in genealogy is invited to attend.

Blood drives set in county

TOLEDO — The American Red Cross has announced two upcoming blood drive opportunities in Wyandot County. Bloodmobile are scheduled for 12:30-5:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Mohawk Community Center, 295 Ohio 231, Sycamore; and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23 at St. Peter’s Catholic School, 310 N. Eighth St., Upper Sandusky.
