Kiwanis Harvest Fest scheduled in Carey

CAREY — As part of Halloween festivities in the village of Carey, the annual Kiwanis Harvest Festival is slated for Oct. 25 at the pavilion at Waterworks Park. Proceeds again will benefit Carey Ecumenical Charities. Organizers said they believe the harvest festival has been offered about nine years.

MHS class of 1980 together

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk High School class of 1980 will gather for its 35th reunion gathering planned for Nov. 14 at MJ Mugsy’s, 123 W. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky. A cocktail hour will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Jackson David Lehnhart

Sarah and Justin Lehnhart, of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a boy, Jackson David Lehnhart. He was born at 7:46 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Leonidas Andrew Stover

Corinne and Frederick Stover Jr., of Tiffin, are the parents of a boy, Leonidas Andrew Stover. He was born at 1:33 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Aging expo set for Thu.

The Wyandot County Council on Aging will offer its annual aging expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church. The expo will include exhibitors, workshops, food, door prizes and a flu shot clinic by the Wyandot County Health Department.

Free tech classes offered

FOREST — Computer classes and one-on-one technology assistance are available at the Forest-Jackson Public Library and the MLJ Hardin County District Library. Classes have limited availability and advanced registration is required.

Program to teach impact of chemicals in products

Young Living Essential Oils representatives Brenda Kuhn and Mindy Johns will present information on the negative impacts more than 800 different chemicals in household products may have on physical and emotional health. The program will be offered from 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 21 at Angeline School and Industries.
