Red Cross BASH returns to Hancock Co.

FINDLAY — Live music from local band Tongue ‘n’ Groove will be one of the highlights of the Marathon Petroleum Red Cross BASH. The annual fundraising party is scheduled for 7-11 p.m. July 24 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds.

Dinner set in Nevada

NEVADA — A pork chop dinner will be available from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Nevada Community Park. Tickets are $7 per meal, which includes two boneless pork chops, coleslaw, a bag of potato chips and a Little Debbie snack cake.

CASA seeks volunteers

TIFFIN — Court Appointed Special Advocates of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties will host its organizational meeting for the new class of volunteers at 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at the main office, located at 21 Court St., Tiffin.

Daisy programs offered for girls

MACEDONIA — Kindergarten and first-grade girls are invited to join Girl Scouts of America, which also is offering “Welcome to Daisy” programs this summer. The programs are designed for participants to complete activities from home.
