Carey library starts ‘1,000 Books’ program CAREY — The Dorcas Carey Public Library will begin a new program, “1,000 Books Before Kindergarten,” which is set to start Sept. 21. Area receives federal navigator grant for insurance TOLEDO — The Ohio Association of Foodbanks and its network of strategic consortium members recently was awarded a federal navigator grant by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The $2 million grant will allow the statewide consortium to provide navigator services throughout Ohio, educating consumers about affordable health care coverage options and helping them to enroll in plans available through the federally-facilitated Health Insurance Marketplace.
