Daisy programs offered for girls

MACEDONIA — Kindergarten and first-grade girls are invited to join Girl Scouts of America, which also is offering “Welcome to Daisy” programs this summer. The programs are designed for participants to complete activities from home.

22nd annual family bike ride slated

The 22nd annual Upper Sandusky Family Bicycle Tour presented by Columbus Outdoor Pursuits is set to begin from 7-8:30 a.m. Saturday. The new starting location is at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church, 108 Malabar Drive.

Ice cream social to feature vintage vehicles

Carriages, buggies and vintage vehicles will be on display during the annual ice cream social from 12-4 p.m. Saturday sponsored by the Wyandot County Archaeology and Historical Society. The event includes free admission to the Wyandot County Museum and Charlotte’s Schoolhouse.

2 movies to be shown

FOREST — The Forest-Jackson Public Library will host two family movies in July. At 10:30 a.m. July 21 the library will show “Pixar Shorts 2” and at 10:30 a.m. July 28 “Home” will be shown.

USCL announces events

The Upper Sandusky Community Library will show movies in the basement at 1 p.m. every Wednesday. The titles cannot be published in the paper due to the library’s contract, but area residents can get a listing in the library’s newsletter or pick up a listing at the library.
