Wal-Mart store will host a safety carnival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 25 at its Upper Sandusky location.

Summer worship services at Old Mission Church continue at 8 a.m. Sundays.

FINDLAY — Live music from local band Tongue ‘n’ Groove will be one of the highlights of the Marathon Petroleum Red Cross BASH. The annual fundraising party is scheduled for 7-11 p.m. July 24 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds.

The Rev. John Stowe, former pastor and rector of the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, was ordained and installed as bishop of the Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky, on May 5.

NEVADA — A pork chop dinner will be available from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Nevada Community Park. Tickets are $7 per meal, which includes two boneless pork chops, coleslaw, a bag of potato chips and a Little Debbie snack cake.

TIFFIN — Court Appointed Special Advocates of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties will host its organizational meeting for the new class of volunteers at 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at the main office, located at 21 Court St., Tiffin.
