Community fundraiser scheduled at Bob Evans

Bob Evans Restaurant in Upper Sandusky will sponsor a community fundraiser event in support of The Star Players from Friday through Sunday. Customers who eat at the restaurant, located at 1730 E. Wyandot Ave., Friday, Saturday or Sunday and who also present the event flier will have 15 percent of their total sales donated to The Star Players.

OLC bakery to be open

CAREY — Some new pies and breads will be featured when the Our Lady of Consolation National Shrine volunteer bakery hosts a sale Saturday and Sunday. The bakery, under the direction of the Rev. Paul Faroh, will offer Fruit of the Farm pie with rhubarb, black raspberries, strawberries and red raspberries and double-crusted strawberry pies, along with rhubarb, strawberry-rhubarb and a number of other fruit pies.
