Love’s stores consider Upper Sandusky site

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores soon could be coming to Upper Sandusky, with hopes of opening a convenience store, restaurant and professional tire shop on the west end of the city by late 2016 or early 2017. Communications specialist Kealey Dorian confirmed late Tuesday morning Love’s is looking at a site near the intersection of U.S. 23/30 and North Warpole Street.

Shoppers win big in Shop Small

The Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce has announced winners from several promotions it held leading up to and during Home for the Holidays. The winners of $25 gift certificates for the Wyandot Shop Small event in Upper Sandusky were Robin Ziegler at Wilson Tire Company, Rebecca Weaver at Willow Craft Gallery, Jenaya Clabaugh at A Cut Above Salon and Tina Hatch at the Upper Sandusky Community Library.

Superior Credit converts to state charter, expands

LIMA — Following an affirmative membership vote earlier this year, the Ohio Department of Financial Institutions officially granted a state charter to Superior Federal Credit Union, now known as Superior Credit Union Inc. The credit union has selected a new logo and is in the process of updating signage, forms and marketing material.

Report: Ag Credit had volume increase in 3rd Q

FOSTORIA — Ag Credit, an agricultural credit association and one of the largest agricultural and rural lenders in northern Ohio, recently released its third quarter financial report ending Sept. 30. A cooperative owned by its member-borrowers, Ag Credit provides funds to farmers, rural homeowners and farm-related businesses for financing short and intermediate-term loans and long-term real estate mortgage loans.
