CAREY — The Carey Area Chamber of Commerce will host its first bosses’ breakfast Oct. 15 at Greenbriar Florist and Catering, 150 W. North St. A breakfast buffet will begin at 7:30 a.m., with a presentation by Nancy Proctor of the Blanchard Valley Health System at 8 a.m.

Upper Sandusky-based Wyandot Counseling Associates has undergone a big change with the new ownership of Anna and Michael Trausch as of July 1. Former owners George and Lana Sakash, who have spent decades in the field of mental health and recovery services, will continue on the staff for now.

Upper Sandusky-based Kalmbach Feeds Inc. has reached an agreement with Cumberland Valley Cooperative, of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, that was approved by shareholders of CVC for Kalmbach to acquire a majority of its assets.

The Wyandot County Regional Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday has been canceled. There are no pre-application guidance or variance issues to present to the board.

The Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities meeting for September has been moved to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24. The meeting was changed from Sept. 17 because it was scheduled during the Wyandot County Fair.

Five counselors with Upper Sandusky Counseling and Life Coaching have moved to their new office and welcomed a student intern who will lead a new grief support group in Wyandot County. Upper Sandusky Counseling and Life Coaching moved to its new location at 625 N. Sandusky Ave. at the beginning of June.

ATTICA — North Central Electric Cooperative will conduct a tour of its coal-fired generating plant along the Ohio River on Sept. 30. The all-day trip is open to cooperative members.
