FOREST — Community First Bank N.A. has announced that its vice president of operations/cashier Sharon Haymond will retire next week. Haymond has been with the bank since late 1973, when on a visit to the bank her mom was asked whether her daughter wanted a job. “She, of course, replied YES,” laughed Haymond, and so began a career that spanned many jobs and more than 45 years.

NEW RIEGEL — According to Metal Construction News Magazine, Clouse Construction Corporation, a design build general contract located in New Reigel, has recently been ranked No. 1 in the state of Ohio and No. 28 in the United States for being a top pre-engineered metal builder in 2018.

TIFFIN — Bascom Communications, Bascom, has announced an investment of $1.7 million into its fiber and fixed wireless services for 2019, bringing its two-year total investment to $2.8 million. These investments have helped Bascom extend services to customers south and east of Tiffin who previously were not able to get high-speed internet.
