Regina Vent, broker and owner of Regina Vent Realty LLC, was awarded Realtor of the Year at the Heartland Board of Realtors holiday luncheon in Findlay. Considerations for this award include involvement on the local board, for which she served as the 2018 president, and service at the Ohio Association of Realtors, civic activities and business and educational experience.

Marseilles to work on drains

Marseilles Village Council met in special session Dec. 26. In old business, Holcomb Excavating will be working on the village drains when the weather permits, Phillips Lawn Care will be mowing the village park next year for the same price as this year and the Wyandot County Mayor’s Breakfast will be held on March 12, 2019, at the Angle Back Just One More in Marseilles.

Sharon Frisch, a licensed practical nurse at Fairhaven Community, a United Church Homes community, has been recognized with the Living UCH Values Award for 2018. The LUV Award recognizes and honors staff members who demonstrate the highest commitment to United Church Homes’ core values of compassion, hospitality, respect, integrity, stewardship and transparency.

Bair joins WMH staff

Megan Bair, CNM, joined the staff at her hometown hospital, Wyandot Memorial Hospital, as a full-time healthcare provider for obstetrics and gynecology. “I’m so honored to be working in a community that gives me the opportunity to impact women of all ages,” Bair said. “I love that Wyandot will give me the platform to provide compassionate care and lead women toward better health. Coming home is like a dream come true.”
