Danielle Kreais, CPNP-PC, joined the staff at Wyandot Memorial Hospital to care for children from newborn through age 17. The Wyandot County native — formerly Danielle Boes — has extensive experience in pediatrics, both as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner-primary care and as a registered nurse.

Mandy Baldwin’s Mustard Seed Marketplace is on the move. The art, craft, home decor and furniture shop moved to its new location at 132 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, two weeks ago on Aug. 7.

Christopher Halasy, M.D., MBA, has opened a family medicine practice at Wyandot Memorial Hospital to care for patients of all ages. Dr. Halasy has extensive experience and most recently worked in a primary care clinic in Galion.

Certified Nurse Practitioner Robin Gottfried has joined Sycamore Medical Associates and is accepting new patients of all ages. Gottfried moved her practice from Upper Sandusky to Sycamore, where she joins Dr. Scott Cisar and Certified Nurse Practitioner Nikki Wolfe.

FINDLAY — Blanchard Valley Health System recently has expanded its medical practices by developing an obstetrics and gynecology office in Fostoria. This new practice will be called Blanchard Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology and located at 617 N. Countyline St., Suite B, Fostoria.

COLUMBUS — Dan Reid, CPCU, CLU of the Reid Insurance Agency, Upper Sandusky, has been named a member of the 2018 Grange Life Presidents Club, recognizing him for his production, customer retention, and service results. BUCYRUS — U-Haul Company of Massachusetts and Ohio Inc. has announced that Country Road Spinners has signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer to serve the Bucyrus community. Country Road Spinners at 5350 Lincoln Highway will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, moving supplies and in-store pick-up for boxes.

Recruitment now is underway to enroll participants in the fall Micro Business Development Program offered by the HHWP Community Action Commission. The program consists of 11 sessions held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursdays beginning Aug. 23 at the Wyandot County HHWP Community Action Commission office, 559 S. Warpole St. in Upper Sandusky.

AEP Transmission, an affiliate of AEP Ohio, recently broke ground on a new service center in Wyandot County. The building, located at 330 Tarhe Trail, will encompass about 37,000 square feet and will replace an existing company building located 3 miles away.
