The Ohio State University at Marion recently welcomed Student Success Counselor Michelle McKinniss to the staff. As a newly-created position in the Office of Student Retention, McKinniss will work to create student success initiatives, working directly with students to overcome barriers to growth and success.

John Elchert has been named the director of therapy services at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Elchert’s department includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and audiology, and the staff members care for both inpatients and outpatients.

Upper Sandusky Middle School students learned valuable lessons in the final weeks of the school year with a reality store event last month. The event was for seventh and eighth graders at Union School with the intent to teach the students about the challenges they will face as adults.
