Pharmacy Tech Deb Bjorling, of Carey, retired last week from Wyandot Memorial Hospital after working more than 31 years in the pharmacy department. Her co-workers celebrated the milestone with cake, and her sister presented her with a framed photo showing Bjorling at her mother’s retirement party in the very same cafeteria in 1991.

Twenty-one employers in Wyandot County have earned recognition from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for reaching a year without workplace injuries or illnesses that kept workers away from work for more than a day. The employers received BWC’s 100 Percent Award during the Wyandot County Safety Council’s annual awards ceremony.

NEVADA — The White Shutter Winery’s new owners Jake and Kerri Thiel celebrated the opening of their remodeled barn Tuesday with a ribbon cutting ceremony. A grand opening event will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday.

In her 16 years with CFB, Burton has worked in many areas of the bank, moving from part- to full-time teller, to head teller and then to assistant cashier, a position to which she was promoted in 2011.

MARION — OhioHealth is donating $100,000 to support the training of future health care workers at Marion Technical College in a new, state-of-the-art anatomy and physiology lab.
