Gail Jeffrey has been named the director of dietary and environmental services at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Jeffrey’s departments prepare all meals for patients, visitors and staff and maintain the cleanliness of patient rooms, testing and treatment areas, physician offices and public areas.

Peacock staff member completes pro seminar

MARION — Ellery Maze, a member of the staff at Peacock Water, has successfully completed the professional service seminar at Kinetico’s Service Academy, the training arm of Kinetico Incorporated, Newbury. Maze, along with other service professionals working for dealerships across the country, participated in this intensive service training seminar conducted by Kinetico, a manufacturer of nonelectric, metered, demand operated, twin tank water processing equipment.

17 USHS DECA students place at districts

Top finishers

Twenty six Upper Sandusky High School junior and senior marketing students competed in the recent DECA District 3 marketing competition at the University of Findlay. Seventeen students won trophies or medals of distinction in their competitive events and will now advance to Ohio DECA Career Development Conference, the state competition, on March 9-10 in Columbus.

Beca House opens at WMH

New location

The Beca House Coffee Co. opened a satellite coffee shop in the atrium at Wyandot Memorial Hospital last week. Beca House owners Steve and Heather Jackson have established hours at the new location from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday.
