Don Tomasso’s owner Thomas Smith recently took second place in a U.S. Pizza Team qualifier Sept. 18 in Columbus. Smith prepared his “Little Sandusky” pizza — a white pizza with buffalo chicken, bacon and red onion — for the specialty pizza contest.
