A former Upper Sandusky man previously convicted of rape is facing as many as 14 years in prison after pleading guilty Monday to failure to give a notice of change of his address and burglary in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Corey D. Penwell, 26, of Fredericktown and formerly of Upper Sandusky, pleaded to one count of both charges before Judge Kate Aubry.

Joseph A. Elliott, Harpster, charged by the sheriff with domestic violence, pre-trial held, continued to Feb. 17.

A former Upper Sandusky man was sentenced in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday to two years of community control and six months in a community-based correctional facility for spitting on a Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office sergeant during a traffic stop in May.
