Tickets available now for Star Theatre’s ‘The Addams Family’

Tickets are now available for The Star Theatre’s production of “The Addams Family”, a dark and twisted musical about the trials of coming of age and falling in love while surrounded by all your zany relatives — living and dead. Directed by Keitha Voorheis, the show features Star veteran Ron Boose as Gomez and Lindsey North as Morticia.

Piano prodigy playing in Bucyrus

BUCYRUS — Ethan Bortnick will perform at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Bucyrus Elementary School auditorium, 245 Woodlawn Ave., Bucyrus. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Recognized by the Guinness World Records as “the world’s youngest solo musician to headline his own concert tour,” Ethan Bortnick has been performing around the world, raising over $50 million for charities across the globe.

Singers invited to join Carey Christmas choir

CAREY — Area singers are invited to join the Carey Ecumenical Christmas Choir as preparations begin for this year’s concert to be held at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St., Carey. This year marks the choir’s 47th year of presenting this musical program at this historic shrine and promises to be a highlight of the Christmas season.
