The Star Players in Upper Sandusky have announced Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” as its summer 2018 musical to be staged June 29 through July 1 and July 5, 7 and 8 at the Star Theatre. The production will be directed and choreographed by Tina Pritchard, with Reid Barth as music director.

CAREY — The Carey High School choral department will present the Carey High School alumni choir at 7 p.m. Saturday. Vivian Gery, Lynelle Lortz, Sam Kitzler and composer Matthew Armstrong will conduct this concert.

The Star Players have begun rehearsals for their spring musical, “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” which will be staged at 7 p.m. May 10-12 and 2 p.m. May 13 at the Star Theatre in Upper Sandusky. The smash off-Broadway hit, which was written by Roger Bean, premiered at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater in 1999.

BUCYRUS — The Crawford Theatre Company will present Arthur Miller’s classic, “The Crucible” at 7:30 p.m. April 13-14 and at 2:30 p.m. April 15 at Wynford Elementary School, 3300 Holmes Center Road, Bucyrus.

The Star Players have announced it will hold open enrollment for its annual Children’s Theatre Workshop at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the theater ticket office on West Wyandot Avenue in Upper Sandusky. Star Kids is an education theater experience for children currently enrolled in first through sixth grade.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Theatre will present its 20th annual summer theater camp in two separate weeklong camps from June 11-16 and 19-24. Students will be limited to participate in only one of the two weeks as either an actor or assistant director.

SYCAMORE — Mohawk High School will present “Once Upon a Mattress” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. “Once Upon A Mattress” takes place in a kingdom faraway.

Upper Sandusky High School will present “Guys and Dolls” at 7:30 p.m. March 21-24 and 2:30 p.m. March 25. Set in Depression-era Times Square, “Guys and Dolls” is about a couple of big city gamblers and the women who love them.
