Nine bands prepare to take WyCo Fairgrounds stage at 2017 Wyanstock

Wyanstock 2017 will rock the Wyandot County Fairgrounds on July 1. This is the fourth year for the 12-hour music festival put on by Wyandot County Young Professionals. The schedule is jam-packed with bands, food, drinks, vendors selling arts and wares, a cornhole tournament and a meat smoking competition from noon to midnight. Camping sites are available June 30 and July 1.

Ritz announces events schedule

TIFFIN — The Ritz Theatre is announced its 2017-18 schedule consisting of music, comedy, dance, community theater and family entertainment. The season includes celebrated artists such as Wynonna and The Big Noise, Olivia Newton-John, Frankie Avalon, 38 Special and more.

Set the Stage 2.0 slated in Marion

MARION — Since 1998, “Set the Stage” theater camps have been a part of the Marion Palace Theatre’s programming. This summer, Palace management is expanding the arts camp to offer students an all-day, weeklong experience for youth 6-14. Registration is open for “Set the Stage 2.0,” which runs July 24-July 28 and July 31 through Aug. 4.

Tickets for the Star Players production of “Annie” now on are sale. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. June 23-25, June 30 and July 2 and 2 p.m. July 1 at the Star Theatre in downtown Upper Sandusky. Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for non-members and may be reserved by calling the Star Theatre at 419-294-1411.

Star Players announces cast for musical for ‘Annie’

The Star Players of Upper Sandusky has announced its principal cast for the upcoming production of “Annie.” Appearing on stage will be Christopher Harben as Daddy Warbucks, Lori Lavery as Grace Farrell, Kristina Pritchard as Miss Hannigan, Jim Ruhlen as Rooster Hannigan, Keitha Voorheis as Lilly St Regis, Mike Webb as FDR, Matt Vanderpool as Drake, Elaina Camacho as Duffy, Trista Miller as Tessie, Leah Kinley as July, Reagan Rowe as Pepper, Leah Hahn as Kate, Camdyn Tiech as Molly, and featuring Emily Ruhlen as Annie.

Palace releases schedule

MARION — The Palace Cultural Arts Association, better known to the community as the Marion Palace Theatre has announce the entertainment schedule for the 2017-18 season, which includes nine national and regional touring artists on the main stage, six local Palace productions, four school matinee shows, three Sunday with the Arts presentations and two Open Mic Nites.

Ritz staging ‘Scotland Road’

TIFFIN — The Ritz Players have announced the cast for “Scotland Road” to be presented at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. The cast includes, Michelle Castleman of Tiffin as The Woman; Seth Innis, Tiffin, as John; Sandy Kimmel, Tiffin, as Halbrech; and Angela Patuto, Tiffin, as Frances Kittle.

Friday Night Live concludes

TIFFIN — The final Friday Night Live of the season is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday at the National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. Featured artists are Scott Stiert, a singer and songwriter from Milan, The Twisted Strands- folk music trio of Dave Mitten, Renee Williams and Tamilyn Helbing of Tiffin, and the trumpet and bass duo of Ed Adams and Nathan Santos of Tiffin.
