MARION — Lisa Biales will perform a live concert at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Marion Palace Theatre’s May Pavilion. Biales has become one of the hottest female singing acts in the blues world.

MARION — The Marion Palace Theatre is offering a diverse entertainment schedule this winter. Over Valentine’s weekend, the Palace will present two 1970s bands, Pure Prairie League and Firefall, in one concert.

FINDLAY — Energetic singer, songwriter and guitarist Kristen Merlin, who made it to the final five on the sixth season of NBC’s “The Voice,” will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the Alumni Memorial Union as part of the University of Findlay’s Music Bach’s Concert Series.

FINDLAY — “Those Roaring Twenties” is the theme of this year’s concert as the University of Findlay Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble perform pop tunes at 3 p.m. Sunday in Winebrenner Theological Seminary’s TLB Auditorium under the direction of Jack Taylor, professor of music.

TIFFIN — This weekend’s Friday Night Live at the Ritz features musical groups Up in the Air, DFX, Higher Ground, Sketchbook and N’Awlins. The performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday at The National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin.

The Upper Sandusky High School drama department will present its Afternoon of One Acts at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the USHS Little Theater. Tickets are $7 at the door.

MARION — The Marion Palace Theatre will present comedy dog show, Mutts Gone Nuts!, at 3 p.m. Jan. 22. Nine canines, whose talents range from hoop jumping, dancing and catching Frisbees to rope jumping, tight-wire walking and more, unleash havoc and hilarity in an action-packed spectacular.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Theatre’s Friday Night Live series features live music and entertainment in a casual, intimate setting on the National Theatre stage, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. This week’s 7:30 p.m. show features folk singer and songwriter Kerry Patrick Clark, of Maumee; acoustic singer and songwriter Brandon Green, Pittsburgh; and folk/Indie/Americana duo The Tuesday Crowd, featuring Brian Gaietto and Hannah Mathias, Tiffin.

MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Art Center will host a collection of 86 black and white photographs by Gary Zuercher, photographer and author of The Glow of Paris: The Bridges of Paris at Night. Zuercher spent five years photographing the 35 bridges over the Seine River at night during the winter months and another year researching the history of the bridges, gathering anecdotes, printing and assembling the prints.

The Village Restaurant, 435 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky, will host dinner at 5 p.m. with gospel singing from 6-8 p.m. Saturday. The Padgetts, Jesse Davila and HeartSong will perform.
