The Upper Sandusky High School will present its annual fall play, “Writing a Will Can Be Murder” at 7 tonight and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $7 and seating is general admission with auditorium doors opening one-half hour before curtain.

CAREY — Two Carey residents will perform with Heidelberg University’s concert choir, the premier vocal ensemble of the School of Music and Theatre as it gears up for a busy season with its opening concert of 2016-17 — a performance of its concert themed “Up” on Sunday at Carey High School.

NEVADA — Christian spoken word artist Eygpt Speaks, of Euclid, will perform at 9 p.m. Dec. 5 at Nevada United Methodist Church, 317 N. Main St., Nevada.

Upper Sandusky High School will present “Writing a Will Can Be Murder” at 7 p.m. Nov. 11-12 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 13. In the play, an aging movie star Betty Crawford once led a glamourous life on the red carpet, surrounded by reporters, movie producers and directors vying for her attention.

The Star Theatre will present a night of gospel and jazz featuring Becky Blocksom and the John Kennedy Quartet at 7 p.m. Saturday. General admission is $10.

Jake Reel will have a CD release concert at 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at The Village Family Restaurant, 435 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky.

TIFFIN — The Heidelberg University concert choir and the chamber singers, the premiere choral ensembles of Heidelberg University’s School of Music and Theatre, will kick off the 2016-17 performance season with a concert at 3 p.m. Nov. 13 at Carey High School, 2016 Blue Devil Drive.

TIFFIN — Hollywood Nights: The True Bob Seger Experience will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin.

MELMORE — Several groups and individuals were recognized Thursday when the Eden Town Hall was rededicated in conjunction with a concert by the Honey Creek Preservation Jazz Band.
