ONU putting on play ‘Picnic’

ADA — Ohio Northern University’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts will present “Picnic” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 18-20 and 2 p.m. Feb. 20 and 21. William Inge’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Picnic” is set in an idyllic small town in Kansas with two houses, one backyard and change in the air.

Concert at Heritage Christian

Palace staging ‘Charlotte’s Web’

MARION — Generations of readers have fallen in love with Wilbur the pig and his wise arachnid friend, Charlotte, in the storybook “Charlotte’s Web.” Now, the Marion Palace Theatre is set to bring the story to life on stage. Featuring a cast of 29 local youth, the theater will present its first junior stage play for performances at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 and 20 and 2 p.m. Feb. 21.
