ONU to have concert Dec. 12

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents “Gaudete: The It’s Not Quite Christmas Yet concert,” performed by the ONU wind and symphony orchestras, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.

‘A Heidelberg Christmas’ returns to the Ritz

TIFFIN — “A Heidelberg Christmas” returns to the Ritz Theatre for the Performing Arts this year at 3 p.m. Dec. 6. The concert will include traditional concert music of the season, Christmas carols and highlights from Handel’s “Messiah,” which has been a longstanding tradition at Heidelberg for more than a century.

USHS to host annual Jazz in the Fall

Upper Class featured

The Upper Sandusky High School jazz choir Upper Class and jazz band Bleu Midnight will perform, along with two guest groups, in the annual Jazz in the Fall concert and cafe at 7 p.m. Friday. New Riegel High School’s a cappella group Jacket Company and Benjamin Logan High School’s jazz band also will perform.

Nevada UMC to host Christian music concert

NEVADA — Nevada United Methodist Church, 317 N. Main St., is inviting the community to attend an evening of contemporary and classical Christian music at 7 p.m. Nov. 21. The concert will feature pianist Konstantinos “Kon” X. Griveas, who was trained in classic music at The Julliard School in New York City.
