MARION — Marion Palace Theatre management recently announced the return of movies to the big screen. The family action adventure film “Max” will be the first movie to use digital cinema projection at the theatre and will be shown on July 24-26.

LIMA (AP) — A comedy club is trying to raise money to honor comedian Phyllis Diller with a museum exhibit in her northwest Ohio hometown.

The Star Theatre in Upper Sandusky has announced the cast of its 2015 summer musical production, “Hello Dolly.” The cast of characters includes Julie McGinnis as Dolly Gallagher Levi, Christopher Thacker as Horace Vandergelder, Ben Book as Cornelius Hackl, Hailie Crowder as Irene Molloy, Levi Hill as Barnaby Tucker, Mallory Gleespen as Minnie Fay, Donovan Callahan as Abrose Kemper, Elissa Crowder as Ermengarde and Martin Brenneman as Rudolph (head waiter).

BUCYRUS — The Crawford Theatre Company will present “Legally Blonde the Musical Jr.” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Performances will be held in the auditorium at Wynford High School, 3288 Holmes Center Road, Bucyrus.

FINDLAY — Dancers from Neos Dance Theatre will be perform as part of Ballet on Broadway in downtown Findlay from 6-11 p.m. Saturday.

FOREST — The annual Forest Tree Town Festival will take place Friday through Sunday at Gormley Park on Mary Street. The festival is sponsored by the Forest Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Players will present “Jesus Christ Superstar,” with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and July 18 and at 2 p.m. July 19. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.

The next gospel sing at Essex Place will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday. One Voice will perform in the community room at Essex Place, 135 Essex Way, Upper Sandusky.

First Baptist Church of Upper Sandusky, located at 590 Houpt Drive, will host its fireworks festival from 6-9 p.m. Friday.
