KENTON — The 2018 Conservation Tillage Club breakfast program series will begin Jan. 9 at the Plaza Inn Restaurant in Mount Victory. Each session will start at 7:30 a.m. with complimentary buffet breakfast followed by the program at 8 a.m.

It preserves the rights of the minority, yet lets the majority rule. Parli pro allows members to address items of business and change or modify that business to fit the wishes of the organization. Parli pro also allows members to deal with issues or concerns that arise during the discussion of business in a way that is courteous to all. Some of these abilities include amending a motion, referring an item to a committee, rescinding a motion or rising to a point of order.

A Marketing Assistance Loan is available for producers who share in the risk of producing an eligible commodity. To be eligible, a producer must maintain continual beneficial interest in the eligible commodity.

DYERSVILLE, Iowa — The 40th annual National Farm Toy Show was held in Dyersville, Iowa, early in November. The show is considered the ideal event to explore the farm toy world.

Farm Service Agency County Committee advisers are a valued voice for underrepresented groups and socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers. County committee members and their county executive directors actively reach out to producer groups who are underrepresented on county committees.
