Dear editor, I felt that it was important to express my level of appreciation for Wyandot County.
This is Trever Daughenbaugh from the local Boy Scout Troop No. 125. I was recently at a city council meeting where they talked about the free days at the pool.
I have been watching the passage of the Upper Sandusky property maintenance ordinance with interest. I did not attend the first meeting due to the apathy of residents to previous issues, and everything being passed as an “emergency.” But I have been impressed with those residents who did speak out. I commend them greatly!
Dear editor, Why do people mow their grass into the street? They have no pride in the street and neighborhood in the city. Have you ever seen where the city of Upper Sandusky asks that residents don’t mow the grass into the street because it slows down the drainiage in the city’s system for getting rid of water? I like …
Dear editor: Once again this year, the job that Chuck Clark and Paul Boes of the village of Sycamore have done with regard to snow removal has been second to none.
I believe there’s something extraordinary about each and every human life. The science is crystal clear: a new human life begins at conception.
Dear editor: The Wyandot County Commissioners and Emergency Medial Services Director Dale Risely made a good move to place a “Dam Ahead” sign on Black Bridge on Wyandot County CH 55.
Dear editor, On Nov. 3, Ohioans are going to make an important decision about the future status of marijuana.
I am writing to recommend that Wyandot County voters vote No on Issue 3. While much of the debate on this issue has been focused on the cartel of marijuana growers that will be established in the Ohio Constitution should Issue 3 pass, I would like to focus on the public safety threats that will come to Ohio should Issue 3 pass.
We don’t have a drug problem in Wyandot County, Ohio! I am always surprised when I hear this statement, but know that those who are making such a comment are not in law enforcement or social services or work in the courts.
