CAREY — To confirm the villages’ participation in the Ohio Department of Transportation Safe Routes to School grant project, Carey Village Council on Monday approved an emergency ordinance enacted by the village for the SRTS agreement.

CAREY — The Carey Exempted Village School District has welcomed three new teachers this school year: Christopher Camm, Jason Andres and Brenda Hartley.

The Wyandot County Council on Aging hosted senior day Thursday at the Wyandot County Fair. Seniors had $3 reduced admission to the fair and approximately 600 combined free boxed breakfasts and lunches were given out to seniors.
